Christmas Greetings

The newborn Christ rests in a cave ... because there is no room in the "inn". He rests within the cave of our open and, yes, often broken hearts ... because our closed and self-satisfied egos are far too full of themselves to have room for Him, as are our institutions and corporations and nations, the powers and principalities of this world. May Christ's self-emptying Love pour itself into us! May it fill us with His Spirit, the Giver of life! May it transform us and our world!
